To whom this may concern:

The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held in Beijing in early September. As one of the eight fields covered by CIFTIS, “Engineering Consulting and Construction Services” will focus on new construction concepts such as green building, smart construction, coordinated and industrialized construction, as well as digital transformation, upgrading of the construction industry under new concepts, and renewal of urban functions and standards. The Fair will also organize thematic forums, exhibitions and contract signings about the adoption of internet, big data and AI, and the integration between the real economy and digital economy and trade.

In order to gather exemplary cases for the CIFTIS Forum on “Engineering Consulting and Construction Services”, we wish to collect from the industry some successful innovation cases in the field of construction technology and service models. Selected cases will be recommended to CIFTIS 2021 for a uniform exhibition and excellent cases will be awarded during the upcoming CIFTIS. Below are some specific requirements for the solicitation:

I. Scope and requirement

1. Innovative applications of BIM, 5G, AI, big data, cloud computing, IoT, blockchain, virtual reality, CIM, green building, carbon reduction (including applications in projects as well as comprehensive IT and management platforms that apply to the construction sector), and interdisciplinary integration and new business and service models in the industry.

2. Full-process engineering consulting, design-led EPC program, architect-centered mechanism and success cases under the “Belt and Road Initiative”.

3. Candidate cases shall have a clear theme and be of distinct features. The submitted document shall include a general introduction (describing technical innovation points, significance and background), project photos and video clips (with Chinese and English subtitles, video format in MP4, 16:9, and 10-min of length).
