Notice of Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce on the Issuance of the Special Plan for the Layout of Commercial Consumption Space in Beijing

District governments and all relevant units,

In order to speed up the construction of Beijing as an international consumption center; establish a business district system with a clear hierarchical structure, efficient spatial layout, perfect functionalities and pleasant spatial quality; build a new pattern of commercial consumption space in the city with charm for international consumption, strength for urban consumption, vitality for regional consumption and high convenience for community consumption; and create a model international consumption center integrating both Chinese style and international style, and with hustle and bustle, and a world-class harmonious and livable city, the Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission, together with the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, has jointly formulated the Special Plan for the Layout of Commercial Consumption Space in Beijing. With the consent of the municipal government, the plan is hereby issued for implementation.
