To all the units with level-A surveying and mapping qualification in Beijing:

According to the requirements in the Notice on Conducting Nationwide Quality Inspection on Surveying and Mapping Projects in 2021 (Zi Ran Zi Ban Letter [2021] No. 969) issued by the Operating Office of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry will conduct this year’s nationwide quality inspection on surveying and mapping projects from June to December 2021. In order to cooperate for the related work in Beijing, the Commission hereby notifies the following:

I. Projects under inspection

All the results of engineering survey projects conducted from 2019 to 2020 and completed by the end of 2020 by the units with level-A surveying and mapping qualification for engineering survey purpose in Beijing (Appendix 1) are subject to the inspection. The inspection is focused on but not limited to the projects of control surveys and topographic surveys.

II. Scale of projects

The projects submitted by all the units should have a certain level of scale (with a contract value equivalent to or above RMB 500,000 yuan) to reflect the surveying standards of the units. A unit should submit explanation of reasons if it does not have any project to submit, and affix the official stamp of the unit on the explanation materials.

The Ministry will also select eligible projects from the qualification management system. Those eligible projects that are not submitted as required but are selected from the system by the Ministry will be marked for mandatory check.

III. Requirements

(1) Each unit should fill the Form of Projects of Geographical Information Survey (Appendix 2) truthfully. Those concealing any information, refusing to fill the form or interfering with the normal random inspection will be recorded in the credit management system of geographical survey information according to credit management rules.

(2) Each unit should submit the Form of Projects with official stamp of the unit affixed to it to Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources before 21 June 2021 (address for mailing: Suite 406, B Tower, No. Jia 7 Liang Guo Chang, South Yu Yuan Tan Road, Haidian District, Beijing), and send the excel form to the e-mail of the contact person at zjzx@bism.cn.

This Notice is hereby issued.
