On March 21, 2014, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources issued a notice on the hearings of updated benchmark land prices of Beijing Municipality, and would accept applications from citizens, legal persons and other organizations for the hearings from March 31, 2014 to April 2, 2014.

    As of the expiration of the application period, effective 323 applicants are accepted in total, including 303 citizens and 20 legal persons and other organizations. On April 10, 2014, five representatives from citizens and five representatives from legal persons and other organizations (refer to the appendix) are chosen by lot, under the notarial supervision of Beijing Fangzheng Notary Public Office (videotaping in the whole process).
