Affected by the rainstorm early this morning, the Beijing Municipal Commission for City Planning and Land Resources Management and the Beijing Meteorological Service jointly released a yellow alert for the meteorological risk of geological disasters at 16:04 on July 16. Please be alert to the higher risk of debris flow, collapse and landslide that may occur in such mountain areas as Fangshan, Mentougou, Haidian, Fengtai, Shijingshan, Changping, Huairou, Miyun, Yanqing and Pinggu in our city in the next 24 hours.

The general public should avoid going to areas with hidden dangers of geological disasters such as mountainous areas and tourist attractions. Many mountainous roads in our city have experienced several collapses. Especially in Miyun District and Huairou District most affected by this rainfall where geological disasters are extremely prone to occur, please be extremely vigilant to ensure the safety of your life and property.
