In order to implement the approval spirit of the Party Central Committee and State Council on the General City Plan for Beijing Municipality (2016-2035) (hereinafter referred to as the General Plan) and the requirement of General Plan on "maintaining representative development marks of each period as much as possible" and implement the spirit of the Several Suggestions of the State Council of the CPC Central Committee on Further Strengthening the Management of Urban Planning and Construction and relevant working deployment of Circular on Further Strengthening the Historical and Cultural District Division and Historical Building Determination of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Commission has formed a joint working group with the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Administration to jointly carry out the work related to the division of historical and cultural districts and the determination of historical buildings in Beijing.

   Through the previous on-site general survey, field investigation, technical demonstration, expert review and other work, the first group of historical buildings in Beijing has been selected (see appendix for details). They are now publicized and the deadline is 10 days.
