Circular of Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources on Starting the Selection of Beijing Municipal Green Ecological Demonstration Area in 2019

In 2013, the General Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality issued the Implementation Plan for Promoting the Ecological Urban Construction by Developing Green Buildings in Beijing Municipality (J.Z.B.F [2013] No.25) (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Plan"), clearly putting forward that all districts and counties shall build the green ecological demonstration area and green residential area. In order to implementing the document spirit of the "Implementation Plan", the original Beijing Municipal Planning Commission carried out the "Selection of Beijing Municipal Green Ecological Demonstration Area" in 2014, and had carried out for five sessions until 2018, by which Chaoyang District, Haidian District, Fengtai District, Shijingshan District, Changping District, Daxing District, Huairou District, Yanqing District and other 4 zones or parks were named the green ecological demonstration area (See Appendix 1 for details) upon assessment and review, and received the financial reward in accordance with the Interim Measures for the Management of Financial Reward for Promoting the Construction of Green Ecological Demonstration Areas by Developing the Green Buildings in Beijing Municipality (J.C.G.E [2014] No.665). This has played an active role in promoting the green ecological demonstration area construction in Beijing Municipality.
In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on Beijing Municipality, continue to promote the construction of the municipal green ecological demonstration area and improve the level of urban ecological civilization construction, the “Selection of Beijing Municipal Green Ecological Demonstration Area” will officially start on June 27, 2019 and accept registration thereafter until July 26, 2019, the deadline for registration.
The declaration document shall be submitted to: Li Hui, the Survey and Design Management Office of Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources (Room 1427, Building 1, Unit 1, Cheng'an Road, Tongzhou District, Beijing).
