Data elements have become foundational resources and innovation engines for creating new productivity, driving high-quality development, empowering economic growth, enhancing urban governance, and improving people’s lives. The applications and promotion of typical data element across various industries are crucial for maximizing the impact and value of data, ultimately supporting high-quality socio economic development.

To accelerate the implementation of the “Data Elements X” Three-Year Action Plan (2024-2026) (hereinafter referred to as the “Action Plan”), and to leverage the demonstrative role of typical cases, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Government Services and Data Management, in collaboration with the Beijing Software and Information Service Industry Association, selected exemplary “Data Elements X” application cases in the Beijing area. 100 cases across 14 industries were selected based on their technological advancement, innovative models, and significant application results. Each case was thoroughly evaluated and analyzed for its background, unique features, and application value. At the end of the selection, the “2024 Beijing ‘Data Elements X’ Case Collection” was complied. The Beijing Institute of Surveying and Mapping’s “3D Real Scene: Beijing Central Axis” project was selected as one of the exemplary cases.
