Haidian Branch Opens a "Green Channel" to Promote the Key Construction Projects in Beiwu

  A new pattern of integrated urban-rural development of economy and society has been formulated in the 3rd Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee of the CPC as well as the 5th Plenary Session of the 10th Municipal Committee of Beijing. To put it into effect, the Haidian Branch took measures to actively support the key demonstration projects in Beiwu village according to the directives made by Liu Qi, Municipal Sectary of the Party Committee and Mayor Guo Jinlong when they surveyed in the Beiwu village, Sijiqing Town, Haidian District for several times. At initial stage of setting up a project, the Branch headed for the Sijiqing Town for on-site work and instruction giving for several times, exchanged information with the people in Sijiqing Town and provided advices for handling land planning adjustment and preliminary examination of land used for construction projects on site. The close linkage with Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Planning, Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee as well as other relative departments can help know the handling status of the projects. Meanwhile, Haidian Branch gained the support from Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources in terms of land planning adjustment and land use procedures. The Branch also set up a "green channel" to facilitate the land use approval for key projects according to the requirements of Beijing Municipal Committee and Municipal Government with the fastest speed to complete the preliminary examination of relocation and land transformation of Beiwu village. At present, the demonstration project of land planning adjustment has been agreed by the district government and will be submitted to the Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources for approval. The preliminary examination of the land to be used for these projects has been finished.
