The demolition work for the class A development project of wholly reconstructing Bajia Village as one of eight 'backward villages' in Haidian District officially commenced on Apr. 16, 2010, and got off to a good start with 152 pieces of compensation agreements on demolition signed by 18:30 on that very day. Bajia Village is the first 'backward village' to implement this work.
As a land reserve project jointly developed by the municipal and district governments, the prophase class A land development work undergoes intensely but orderly with the support of municipal and district-level leaders as well as the assistance of relative departments. This project is timely funded by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources, instructed on site by leaders of the Municipal Bureau, and actively assisted by related commissions, offices and bureaus. Haidian Office makes every effort to lay solid foundations for smoothly promoting this project. The relocation housings are also under steady construction for the class A land development project on wholly reconstructing Bajia Village.
