Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources and Second Branch of Beijing People’s Procuratorate Hold Signing Ceremony for Procuratorial Liaison and Cooperation

  On August 10, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources and the Second Branch of Beijing People’s Procuratorate held a signing ceremony for procuratorial liaison and cooperation. Director Wei Chenglin of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources and Chief Procurator Lu Xi of the Second Branch of Beijing People’s Procuratorate jointly singed the Cooperation Agreement on the Establishment of a Procuratorial Liaison Officer and the Strengthening of Preventive Work. The two sides will set up a leading group on work to prevent job-related crimes, set up a procuratorial officer in the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources, establish and continuously improve procuratorial liaison work mechanisms. The signing ceremony was attended by Discipline Inspection Team Leader Zhou Xinhua of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources and attended by Party Group Secretary Zhang Yuguo and Deputy Director Li Jun of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources, Deputy Chief Yue Jinkuang, Deputy Inspector and Anti-Corruption Bureau Party Secretary Song Yong and Anti-Dereliction Bureau Director Xing Qing of the Second Branch of Beijing People’s Procuratorate.
  In his speech at the signing ceremony, Chief Procurator Lu Xi pointed out that the establishment of a procuratorial liaison officer system will build a platform of communication, exchanges and cooperation between the two sides. She hoped that the two sides can make joint efforts to prevent job-related crimes. In his speech, Party Secretary Zhang Yuguo stressed that the establishment of a procuratorial liaison officer system would be of great significance to carrying out work to combat corruption and advocate clean government in the land and resources establishment. He called upon all cadres and workers to improve their understanding, strengthen leaning, enhance self-discipline and actively provide case clues to the procuratorial organs. After the signing ceremony, officials from both sides held discussions on matters relating to the improvement of work mechanisms to prevent job-related crimes and follow-up work. (August 10, 2011)
