The Municipal Bureau held a training meeting on checking of basic information about drilling holes in Beijing from August 15 to 16. Liu Bin, Division Chief of the Storage and Measurement Dept. under the Ministry of Land Resources, and Zhang Lihai, Researcher of the Physical Geological Data Center of Land Resources, were invited to give training. Leaders of the relevant division, office and center of the municipal bureau, competent leaders of the technical supporting unit, i.e. the Beijing geological Survey and Research Institute, relevant geological exploration units as well data management staff participated in the training meeting.

　　Division Chief Liu Bin and leaders of the municipal bureau made clear the significance, checking scope, checking contents and checking method concerning checking of basic information about drilling holes respectively from different angles and Researcher Zhang Lihai explained the guide to checking of basic information about drilling holes and the data collection system in detail. The training meeting achieved the expected effect.

　　The meeting requires:
　　1. The relevant geological exploration units should attach great importance and organize capable staff to carry out the work earnestly and try to finish their respective tasks timely and well according to the Rule on Geological Data Management (State Council Decree 349), the Circular of Ministry of Land Resources about Checking Basic Information about Drilling Holes (Land Resources Dept. (2011) No. 31) and our city's work plan.
　　2. The technical supporting unit should communicate actively with survey units in all places to ensure the overall progress of the work in the whole city.
