On Aug. 19, 2011, Beijing Land Ownership Registration Center held an acceptance inspection meeting for the Digital Archives project of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources. Deputy Director Xie Junqi, relevant experts and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting. The project acceptance inspection group listened to the report on the project, watched the system demonstration, and reviewed relevant documents and inspection reports issued by Beijing Electronic Product Quality Testing Center and Beijing Information Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Station, conducted discussion on the project and agreed that the project passed the acceptance inspection.
　　The Digital Archives is an archive management system integrating archive management informatization application, archive digitalization results and network application. The completion of this Archives shall facilitate all staff to inquire archives without going out of the office. It has the functions of archive input, lending, transfer, clearance, statistics, as well as stocks management, which may largely save work time and improve work efficiency.
　　Xie Junqi pointed out that the completion of the Digital Archives is of great importance to us. The system has adopted archive digitalization results, realized the modernized management of archives, and fully uplifted the archive management level in the Bureau. It has achieved online inquiry by interior employees and effective management of inquiries by the public. In the next move, we should set forth administrative measures for the inquiry and use of digital archives to regulate such practices.
