From 23 to 25 November 2011, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources, in collaboration with Beijing Municipal Commission of Development & Reform and Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Planning, held a meeting on proposal for state use of land for construction for 2012. The meeting, presided over by head of Control and Supervision Division Mr. WANG Bing, discussed and studied the situation of land supply for 2012 as from such perspectives as total amount, structure, and layout; the meeting also listened to the briefings made by districts and counties on their planned state use of land for construction for 2012. Bureau's Planning Division, Cultivated Land Protection, Land Requisition, Land Utilization, and Beijing Land Consolidation and Reserve Center were all present at the meeting.

　　It was requested at the meeting that land supply for indemnificatory housing for 2012 should account for over 50% of residential housing. Meanwhile newly requisitioned land that is already on the annual supply list should do well on occupy-and-compensate issue and execute all prophase procedures such as project approval, planning etc.

　　The meeting ended with expected result. Fengtai, Changping, Tongzhou, Haidian and Shijingshan submitted relatively complete plan in light of authorized procedures. Fengtai's sybmission was recommended by the meeting to learn from by other districts and counties for a later report. After the meeting, special land supply meetings will be held at priority districts and counties and then 2012 annual land supply proposal will be issued to counties and districts based on their modified reports.
