In recent days, Fangshan University of Technology No. 10 Project - the largest joint urban reserve land for public rental - was approved. The project covers an area of 33.24 hectares, providing about 3,500 units of public rental flats. It is the largest joint urban reserve land for public rental project, fully presenting the important role of the government-led development model of land reserves in completing the task of housing land supply protection. At the beginning, the project confronted many problems, such as a lack of arable land indicators, planning and adjustment and the uncertainty of the main subject. Based on the principles of speeding, simplifying and coordinating, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources and the related bureaus worked collaboratively in the management, forming a circuited and normalized land schedule. At the meantime, the bureau achieved innovation on the work system, giving priority to the protection of land available for housing and submission of land acquisition materials to the municipal people's government. The new work system solved the problems of the land supply.
