Fangshan Dashiwo Marble Mine Mining Geology Environment Treatment Project Passed Inspection

  Beijing's Fangshan Dashiwo Marble Mine Mining Geology Environment Treatment Project passed complete inspection after field reconnaissance, on-site questioning, hearing debriefing and referring to relevant materials and information by a group of experts organized by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources (BMBLR) on 8 June 2012.

  The Project, patronaged by CNY 20,000,000 public finance, was entrusted to treat an area of land of 1,320 Mu. With such work as terrain and landform treatment, building retaining wall, scaling, and greening having done to this region, the ecological environment of it has been resumed, resulting in a reduction or elimination of potential geological disasters. The recovered usable 1168 Mu of land would be used as industrial restructuring purposes for the village and could offer 11264 temporary employments. The Project has also contained illegal digging and mining.

  LI Yanfei, Deputy Bureau Director and relevant division heads such as Finance, Auditing, Geological Environment at both ministry and city level were present at the inspection.
