To implement the Central Government policy of real estate macro-control, build the residential land supply system oriented to the market and meeting the multi-level demands, and ensure the low-income people have access to affordable housing, middle-end housing has real estate policies and high-end housing is controlled, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources has made constant innovations of trading means. Based on prioritizing the land use for affordable housing projects, the Bureau has been working hard to expand the multiple channels of supplying residential commercial property land plots. Of the 8 traded residential land plots, 2 plots will be used to build the residential commercial property land plots, which are supplied in the form of "limiting the property price and bidding for the land price"; 4 plots are supplied in the form of limiting the land price and bidding for the area of residential commercial properties; and the other 2 plots are supplied in the form of limiting the land price and bidding for the area of public rental housing.
These 8 plots have total construction space of about 1.18 million square meters. The construction space for the purpose of residence is about 960,000 square meters, of which the construction space for limited-price housing, public rental housing and affordable housing in the form of accessory construction and bidding for construction is about 360,000 square meters; the space of residential commercial property supplied in the form of collective construction and bidding for construction is about 510,000 square meters. Till today, Beijing has traded 904 hectares of residential land, and 265 hectares of commercial land with the land supply for operating use reaching a record high in Beijing. Of the traded residential land use, about 1.02 million square meters can be used to provide residential commercial property housing.
