Chief Planner Ding Xiao Hosts Dispatching Meeting on Promotion of Key Projects

    The Promotion Office for Major Projects of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources organized the Dispatching Meeting on promotion of projects related to the municipal key projects like the No. 10 Water Plant and main line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. Ding Xiao, Chief Planner, hosted the meeting. Besides, Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Planning, Beijing Water Authority, Beijing Municipal Construction Committee of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, the No. 10 Water Plant and member units of the Promotion Office for Major Projects of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources including Management Department of Collective Land, Department of Zoning and Planning, Land Requisition Department, Cultivated Land Protection Department and Land Control and Monitoring Department attended the meeting.

    Solutions were proposed at the meeting to problems including the way of land supply which is still under approval for the No. 10 Water Plant, expiry of related documents of main line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and the common problems of starting construction before their approval were granted.

    Ding Xiao, Chief Planner, noted that the No. 10 Water Plant and the South-to-North Water Diversion Project were major and pressing projects for the benefit of the people. So all departments should attach great importance to them, be earnest in implementation of decisions at the meeting and active in coordination and communication with Department of Development and Reform commission and Department of Zoning and Planning, and organize coordination meeting on a regular basis in order to help these relevant units of major and pressing projects complete the land approval successfully.
