In order to improve the scientific quality of civil servants in the whole city and encourage them to widely learn the scientific spirit, thoughts, methods, knowledge, decision, management and others, on August 4, 2014, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources introduced the activity of "Civil Servants' Scientific Quality Lecture" launched by Beijing Municipal Administration of Human Resources and Social Security, and invited Rear Admiral Yang Yi, former Director of Strategy Institute at National Defence University PLA China to give a wonderful national security situation lecture around "Breaking National Security Challenges and Maintaining the Strategic Opportunity Period" for all cadres and workers, analyzing the situation and talking about strategies, challenges and opportunities.

　　Zhang Wei, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources attended and presided over the lecture. Workers from Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land Resources and its branches in 16 districts listened to the lecture together. The lecture made everyone further understand the defense strategy and pay attention to national security, stimulated their patriotic enthusiasm and played a significant role in promoting them to better perform duties of land and resources department and conduct administration in accordance with the law and rules at the height of safeguarding national security.
