In 2015, crackdown on illegal mining was conducted in Fangshan District by maintaining pressing posture always and taking various effective measures in combination with work focuses of Beijing such as atmospheric environment control, comprehensive scattering and removal of low-end industries and promotion of coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province. Especially in Qinglonghu  Town, Fangshan District, multiple parallel measures are taken for crackdown on illegal mining, with a remarkable achievement made. The first step is to interview with the party concerned. Ask the responsible person of illegal processing plant to convene removal meeting, sign various responsibility books, issue various notices for stopping various irregularities and show attitude and determination towards crackdown. The second step is to set up special teams to crack down illegal behaviors. Entrust a professional security company, employ 60 security personnel, and provide patrol vehicles, patrol evidence-obtaining equipment and communication equipment to do rigid guarding well and resolutely curb resurgence of illegal mining, maintain daytime & nighttime patrol, comprehensive control to avoid leaving dead Angle and ensure timely finding and timely crackdown. The third step to input RMB 6 million to set up checkpoints and restriction gantries, with 7 checkpoints and 1 restriction gantry in three key administrative areas such as Xiaoyouying, Shangwan and Beicheying Villages. The fourth step is to strengthen propaganda and education. Pose various governmental notices such as Notice of the People’s Government of Fangshan District of Beijing on Thirteen Illegal Behaviors such as Removing illegally Mining and Transportation of Mineral Resources and Notice of the People’s Government of Fangshan District on Illegal Mining at prominent places in various villages and various illegal mining points, and handing banners at various main intersections, and carry out constant broadcasting for propaganda. Conduct crackdown, and make removal of low-end industries more and more popular to form a good atmosphere of everyone’s participation and everyone's supervision. In January 2016, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources carried out onsite inspection. At present, original illegal mining in such town has been effectively curbed, and all illegal processing factories stop production and remove equipment. Sand and stones stored are used for village & town construction and environmental restoration and treatment.
