In order to further implement related requirements of the central government and municipal party committee’s “Studies of Party Building” activity, in accordance with the arrangement of our bureau’s "the implement scheme of carrying out “Studies of Party Building” activity in all party members, our bureau and the municipal party committee’s lecturer group jointly held “Studies of Party Building” counseling report in the afternoon of May 20. All the party members of the municipal and bureau leaders, the branches and officers and all bureau-affiliated units listened to and watched the report in the main meeting room and so did the party members of the branches in the parallel sessions.

The report specially invited Comrade Fu Hua, the Secretary of Leading Party Group and President of Beijing Daily and principal member of Group Management Committee in Beijing Daily Group, to give a report entitled with“ stick to the ideal and faith and display the party members’ character”, interpreting how to stick to the ideal and faith and how to display the Communist Party members’ noble character from three aspects of answering the call of the ideal, displaying party members’ character, and demonstrating the graceful bearing at key moments. The report is vivid, moving and inspiring.

Deputy Director, Li Jun, stressed and emphasized three points. Firstly, sticking to the ideal and faith is an important objective of “t Studies of Party Building” activity, and every party member should further stick to the ideal and faith from the supporting points of beautiful prospects, noble values and realistic and great career. Secondly, finding problems and making out problems are the key propositions of carrying out “Studies of Party Building” activity. Problems, such as poor organization, spiritual emptiness, depression, and officials’ wrongdoings must be rectified promptly. Thirdly, the party members should display their noble qualities, rigorously disciplining themselves, being closely attached with the mass, showing elegant demeanor at the critical moments, which help to make full use of party members as role models.
