On March 14, Chen Yixin, committee member of the Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Beijing led the personnel of the Mineral Resources Exploitation Department to check the work against illegal behaviors in Shunyi District. They carried out field inspections in the two areas prone to mining thefts in Xiaode of Mulin Town and Tangzhi Mountain Area in Shunyi District. As Shunyi District has increased the intensity of attacking illegal sand and gravel exploitation and shut down all processing areas of sand and gravel, illegal mining has been effectively controlled and there were no signs of mining thefts on the site. The committee member Chen Yixin gave compliments to Shunyi District and the branch land bureau for their work against illegal mining, and on the other hand, he proposed the following two requirements: 1. continue the work of cracking illegal mining without reducing the efforts; 2. continue strengthening the inspection so as to discover and handle early; 3. regarding the borders of Shunyi District and Miyun District, relevant departments and towns of the two districts should strengthen coordination and cooperation, to prevent illegal exploitation, and carry out management work to eliminate hidden perils.
