On October 26th, 2017, Niu Jue, Beijing Bureau of State Land Supervision commissioner, along with all staff of Supervision Office 1, visited our city to investigate and guide the rectification work targeting problems found in the supervision. Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources reported the progress and following plans on the rectification work targeting problems found in the routine supervision in 2016 and 2017, and reported the work arrangement and following measures for the three key supervision tasks. The participating organizations reported their rectification work in detail respectively. Commissioner Niu Jue and the participating organizations made in-depth discussion on the rectification work, and he gave relevant suggestions. Commissioner Niu Jue pointed out that, state land supervision organs conduct examination on the land use and management of governments of provinces and municipalities with independent planning status on behalf of General Office of State Land Supervision of China, the municipal and district governments should have clear responsibilities in the rectification work, and the municipal departments in charge of specific industries should fulfill their duties on behalf of municipal government. Furthermore, he gave two suggestions in this regard. On the one hand, he advised to further sort out the problems found in supervision, particularly illegal occupation of land, form a list of problems according to different competent authorities and deploy them to the relevant municipal departments for rectification. On the other hand, he advised to further strengthen policy-making and sort out the policy-making list based on problems found in the supervision so as to make up for the deficiencies by policy-making and further establish a long-term management mechanism. Ding Xiao, chief engineer of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources noted that, all organizations must attach great importance to land supervision, conduct the work on behalf of municipal government and should pay more attention to study and improve relevant policies while carrying out rectification for problems found in the supervision so as to earnestly implement the rectification work.
The meeting was held in the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources. And 18 municipal departments, including Municipal Personnel Office, Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Municipal Agriculture Commission, Municipal Construction Commission, Municipal Commission for State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration, Municipal Urban Management Commission, Municipal Transportation Commission, Municipal Economic Information Commission, Municipal Tourism Commission, Municipal Finance Bureau, Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, Municipal Gardening Bureau, Municipal Road Affair Bureau, Municipal Water Supply Bureau, Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, Municipal Sports Bureau Zhongguancun Administration Committee, attended the meeting.
