According to the deployment of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources on promoting the improvement of formalities for construction of major projects at the municipal level or above and rural livelihood projects before approval, the relevant departments, offices and branches have recently taken actions one after another to step up the progress of project sorting-out, carefully analyze the reasons affecting the approval process, and search policies and solutions. Among them, the Legal Affairs Department has initially formed the opinions on the handling of issues concerning construction of major projects and livelihood projects before approval, providing operational procedures and policy basis for the improvement of the formalities in the next step. As the leading departments for special woks, the Control and Monitoring Department and the Cultivated Land Protection Department are organizing the main responsible departments to tease out projects, and aggregate and analyze the situation of the whole city. The Supervision Department, under the instructions of the leaders of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources, and in accordance with the division of tasks, strengthens the supervision and management within the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources, supervises the implementation of this special work in the form of letters and meetings, and keeps track of the progress of the work in a timely manner.
