On June 12, 2018, Wang Bing in the Supervision and Investigation Division organized the convening of a special supervision meeting on the disposal of idle lands and lands approved but failing to be provided, and the leaders from the utilization center and the reserve center attended the meeting.

The utilization center reported the success rate of the disposal and rectification of idle lands in 2016 and 2017, and the success rate in the rectification stage as well as the next working measures, and the success rate of the disposal and rectification of lands approved but failing to be provided in 2016 and 2017, and the success rate in the rectification stage as well as the next working measures; the reserve center reported the policies related to the involvement of lands approved but failing to be provided in the disposal of level-1 development projects and the next work plan. Comrades attending the meeting held serious discussions on related issues, raised their awareness of the rectification of the problems discovered in the supervision, and unified their thoughts.

Finally, Wang Bing stressed that: the disposal of idle lands and lands approved but failing to be provided shall be listed as key concerns of the state land supervision in this year. We must effectively advance the supervision and rectification work. I. The disposal method of idle lands will not change. We should straighten out the relationship and clarify responsibilities, and show our stand and clear attitude. II. For the rectification of lands approved but failing to be provided, the utilization center shall take the lead to further sort out and classify it. Specific rectification work programs should be formed for various problems. The designated responsible departments should draw up specific time limit and operable and evaluable rectification work plans according to different projects. III. The reserve center should formulate reasonable policies on reserve scale for lands approved but failing to be provided involving in level-1 development projects, and give priority to solving the rectification needs of all districts and the whole city regarding level-1 development projects involving in lands approved but failing to be provided. The above plans and policies should be submitted to the Supervision and Investigation Division on June 15 and be reported to the committee leaders in accordance with the procedures.
