On June 8, 2018, Beijing Municipal Commission for City Planning and Land Resources Management organized a meeting on the deployment of the mid-term centralized inspection over the rectification of problems discovered in land supervision in 2016 and 2017. Responsible comrades from Beijing Municipal Government Supervision Office, Beijing Municipal Commission of Rural Affairs, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscape and Forestry, the relevant offices within Beijing Municipal Commission for City Planning and Land Resources Management, the Planning and Land Resources Management Branch Offices of 16 Districts and the branch office of the Economic Technological Development Zone attended the meeting which was presided over by Wang Bing, the director of the Supervision and Investigation Division.

Firstly, the Supervision and Investigation Division introduced the program for the supervision over the inspection work in 2018; arranged the supervision over the inspection work in 2018 and work processes thereof; explained the content related to the inspection and answered the questions raised by the participating units in a centralized way. The participants conducted a serious exchange and discussion on the work program, work plan and process, and unified their thoughts and raise their awareness; Finally, Wang Bing, the director, put forward specific requirements for the supervision over the inspection of the rectification work. The convening of this meeting marked the official launch of the centralized inspection over the rectification of land supervision in Beijing in 2018.

This inspection is an important measure and special action for implementing the Letter of Beijing Bureau of State Land Supervision on the Feedback of Centralized Inspection Opinion on Routine Supervision and the Periodic Rectification of Beijing in 2017 (Guo Tu Du Cha Jing Han [2018] No. 21) and the spirit of the municipal government's instructions. It will lay a good foundation and pave the way for the end-of-year inspection, and it is also a premiere of the implementation of land inspection system in Beijing at the same time.
