On Jan. 10, 2012, led by Ding Xiao, Chief Planner and General-Director of the Major Issue Office of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources, the Major Issue Office did a site investigation to the Shahe Campus of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications together with Regulation and Monitoring Department, Land Use Department and Land Acquisition Department.
Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications introduced the land acquisition procedures of the first phase of construction of Shahe Campus and the confronted problems. The representatives from Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources gave legal and policy guidance and explanation, and made a preliminary options and recommendations to solve the problems.
The meeting agreed on the following statements.
Firstly, Notification on the Agreement of Land Allocation Pre-procedure of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications proposed by Beijing Agricultural Machinery Test Station of China Agricultural Mechanization Sciences can be used for the preliminary procedure of land acquisition.
Secondly, the 858 acres of land of Shahe Campus is agreed to be applied as a whole instead of being split up on principle.
Thirdly, Changping Branch will improve the overall planning of land use results of Beijing Agricultural Machinery Test Station and Songlanpu Village.
