Recently, Liu Yufang, deputy secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and director of the Office of Education, Science, Culture and Health, led a team. More than 30 committee representatives from the National People's Congress Education, Science, Culture and Health Committees of various districts came to the construction site of the Beijing Urban Sub-center to conduct on-the-spot investigation on planning and construction of the sub-center. The comrades of comprehensive office of the sub-center of Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources were responsible for accompanying the investigation and research.

During the investigation and research, deputy secretary-general Liu Yufang first came to the Grand Canal Forest Park to inspect the achievements of the ecological environment governance along the Great Canal and listen to the introduction of historical culture, water system management and ecological environmental protection. Later, he went to the planning hall of the urban sub-center, carefully watched the video clips, carefully examined the planning sand table, and comprehensively understood the sub-center planning and construction concept, target positioning, spatial layout, protection of famous city and construction of key functional areas.

Through this field investigation and research, the representatives from various districts have said that the inspection has further deepened the understanding of the planning and construction of the Beijing Urban Sub-center, and is full of confidence in the future construction and development of the Beijing Urban Sub-center.
