Following the requirements of Vice Mayor Jin Wei at the first plenary session of the municipal-level joint meeting on solving historical legacy issues of municipal enterprises, the Commission has set up a special task force mandated with the mission. On the morning of January 6, Deputy Director-General Xie Junqi led a delegation to a special meeting at the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The meeting was chaired by Jin Qiuhong, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Director-General of the Municipal SASAC, and attended by Wu Jun, Secondary Inspector of the Municipal SASAC, and the persons in charge of the Letter and Visit Department and the Rights and Interests Department of the Municipal SASAC.

At the meeting, the Municipal SASAC introduced the work related to historical legacy issues confronting enterprises; and the Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources introduced its special task force. The two sides fully communicated and reached agreement on the historical legacy issues of municipal enterprises related to planning procedures and real estate registration.

In the next step, under the leadership of the municipal joint meeting mechanism, the two municipal commissions will establish a task force on historical legacy issues for municipal-controlled enterprises, which will explore the handling of procedures for planned land development; righting confirmation of housing buildings and land ownership, etc. The task force will make full use of various policy tools to solve issues such as real estate registration, non-operating assets registration, land asset disposal from SOE reforms, urban renewal, etc. so as to address legacy issues in a step-by-step and legally compliant manner.
